Context
Toccata GRMS is a hotel guest room management system operating across multiple properties, originally positioned as a backend infrastructure provider. As the company began repositioning itself toward a smart hotel, tech-forward experience, a clear gap emerged: there was no cohesive, guest-facing digital product that reflected this vision.
To support this transformation, I am leading the end-to-end UX/UI design of a guest-facing IoT web app, accessed via QR code inside hotel rooms. The app enables guests to control in-room elements such as lighting and AC, manage service requests (cleaning, kitchen, Do Not Disturb), and interact with hotel operations in real time.
The platform also includes separate dashboards for receptionists, cleaners, and hotel administrators, forming a connected operational ecosystem. The project is currently in the wireframing and iterative user testing phase, where I am defining interaction logic, validating usability decisions, and aligning the experience with both guest expectations and operational workflows. The next phase will focus on high-fidelity design, system refinement across staff dashboards, and preparing the product for implementation in partner hotels.
